Jennifer Capriati Tennis (known as The Tennis Tournament: Grandslam in Europe) is a Mega Drive video game developed by System Sacom released by Telenet Japan on June 1, 1992. In 1994 it was released in the classic range by Sega as Grandslam (Classic).[1]
A gamer can create their own player by choosing their race, sex, and tennis wear color.[2] In addition to this, the game can be played by either one or two players. There can be doubles and singles matches in addition to nunmerous amounts of tournaments. The game is named after Jennifer Capriati, a three-time grand slam champion who retired in 2004 due to injuries. Actual tournaments are used like the Florida Open, the London Open, and the Paris Open.[2]
